and I was a torchin......torchin..

So, I got a new torch last week. I tried it out today. It is amazing! Check out some of my little items I worked on today. Kinda exciting!!!

I love my new torch!

My little birdie pendant. The first photo is after I pierced it out of a piece of cooper ( 18g). You then have to file and sand the copper so that it doesnt cut you. Then once you clean it up and pickle it you can solder it. The flux has been applied and I am ready to sweat solder the branch on the bird. I then resanded, cleaned and polished it for a cute little pendant.

Metal Button Earrings

Here is a proto of my new metal button earrings. Different patinas, metal, threads and colors are soon to come. They are displayed on this little canvas dress that is made out of scrap canvas. They are then going to be displayed on a wooden rod in a box. This will make it look like the little dresses are hanging in a closet. These will be affordable and perfect gift for someone. I also have handmade cardstock boxes that come equipt with tissue and bows. This way all you have to do is purchase and give. Everything else is done for you! stay tuned.....

rough day today...lots of presentations...lots of meetings....

I the life of a footwear buyer it isnt as glam as you think. The best part....I came home and my boyfriend had dinner ready and the dishes were cleaned. awwww

It is the little things in life. If you take care of the little things...the big things will take care of themselves.
