Studio updates

My dad and I have been hard at work. There's still a ton to do but at least I have all the tools to have classes start here in a couple of months! Refinished an old table with drawers and bought an old baby changing table to make into a bar cart ( image is the one near the window) Stay tuned for updates.

Studioblu....Jewelry Bar

Big plans for 2012!!

I will be opening "Studioblu"....a "Jewelry Bar" here in Ohio where you can go and create jewelry, drink Vino & hang out with friends!

It is similar to a "color me mine" concept but for jewelry design and metal fabrication.  You can sign up for classes and learn how to create everything from hand forged pendants to hoop earrings, then hang out and drink Wine with your friends. Perfect right?  Who doesnt like Jewelry and Wine?

You will also be able to sign up for "open workshop" where you can go in and use my tools for a minimal monthly fee to work on your personal projects. 

It is currently located in a restored warehouse (400 W. Rich St) that used to be a metal manufacturer and was once an old glass factory.  It's a restored warehouse building with TONS of character in an up and coming neighborhood that houses about 60 artists.  So far...stretching from painters, graffiti artists, jewelry artists, glass blowers and architects. The space is filled with talented artists and is getting TONS of press.  In fact, our mayor has it as #3 on his priority list for 2012.  Impressive huh?
